Finding affordable housing near schools and public transportation hubs is one of the biggest challenges our families face. Making sure that Latino families are financially secure and able to stay in their homes is a priority for us. We offer one-on-one case management in the area of personal finance to prevent homelessness and ensure that Latino families are able to afford their monthly rent or mortgage. We offer rent assistance in cases of extreme need, as well as assistance to tenants who have complaints against their landlords. We also provide referrals to housing providers and other community organizations for those in need of shelter.
We partner with organizations such as Metro Fair Housing in cases involving housing discrimination and the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless, which represents families facing eviction.
