“We host a few of these (job fairs) across the state every year, and we try to attract the right people, but we partnered with the Latin American Association here, and the numbers are unlike anything we’ve ever seen.” – Abby Porter, Georgia Highway Contractors Association
Meet Johanna
Johanna Igartua first came to the LAA back in 2019 for our Annual Career EXPO. “I was completely shocked after meeting the employers from CarMax during the Job Fair because I was contacted by them after a couple of days.” Johanna has now been promoted 4 times in 5 years and continues to share her inspiring story with the Latino community. Johanna is a living example of determination, positive attitude, and the Latino potential in the workforce.
