Digital Basic Program
The Digital Basic program will prepare participants with foundational digital skills for job readiness. Classes will be delivered in a combination of in-person and online formats. Participants will learn how to use:
Google Suite
- Create a Google account.
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, monthly expenses, and collaborations.
- Google Job search.
Digital Job Readiness
- Design and edit a resume and draft a cover letter.
- How to search for jobs
- Workforce Readiness
Soft skills
Participants will practice work ethics, effective communication, email etiquette and more.

Digital Advance Program
Digital Advance is a career-focused training program designed to help participants build and strengthen in-demand digital, administrative, and technical skills for today’s workforce. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning using tools commonly required in professional environments, including spreadsheets, word processing, IT fundamentals, and digital skills aligned with specific career paths.
Through a partnership with Hispanic Federation, participants gain access to Google Career Certificates via Coursera, providing an opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in high-demand fields such as Project Management, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, IT Support, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, and UX Design.
Digital Advance combines structured instruction with certification opportunities to support career advancement, increase employability, and prepare participants for technology-driven roles across multiple industries.

Trades and Construction Training
Is combined in class and a self-paced training course that includes Basics and Trades Essentials coursework that is uniquely designed to find a job or contract for a successful career in the Skilled Trades industry.
You will have the opportunity to get a certification from Home Depot in: General construction, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall and more.

- Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Energy Pre-apprenticeships
Designed to equip young adults with the technical knowledge and professional skills needed to thrive in the energy industry. By combining OSHA 10 certification, hands-on training, and essential soft skills, the program creates a clear pathway into Registered Apprenticeships. Participants not only gain industry-recognized credentials but also the confidence and tools to take their first step toward a long-term career in energy.
Elegibility
- All ages but preferably 18–24 years old
- Must have eligibility to work in the US
- English proficiency required (subject to further eligibility requirements)
Technical College Career Pathways
The Latin American Association, in partnership with Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) and Atlanta Technical College (ATC), offers career pathway programs that combine technical education, hands-on training, and apprenticeship opportunities in high-demand industries.
Programs include Industrial Maintenance Technician, HVAC Technician, and Natural Gas certifications and other trades. It also include IT related trainings. Participants can earn Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) credentials while receiving classroom instruction and hands-on training opportunities with employer partners. These programs are designed to prepare participants for long-term careers through industry-recognized training, real-world experience, and career placement support.

- Work authorization
- 2 years of residence in GA
- For scholarships: permanent resident or US Citizen
