LOOKING TO HOST AN EVENT AT AN
AFFORDABLE AND CENTRALLY LOCATED VENUE?
The LAA Atlanta Outreach Center is available to you! Space is available for corporate, nonprofit, community, social, and other events that follow our rental policies:
- Latin American Association does not permit its premises to be used for fundraising activities on the Latin American Association’s premises. “Fundraising” includes pay-for-entry events, requests for donations, and the sale of goods or services.
- No alcohol or drugs are allowed or to be consumed at the LAA.
- Events will need to have a mutual benefit for our community.
- Events that compete with our services or events are not allowed unless the organization establishes a partnership with the LAA.
- Payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the event.
- The LAA will not allow food trucks in our parking area.
- For larger events we will require a 1 million comprehensive public liability and property damage insurance certificate
- Events will need to take place during our service hours:
- Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 8:00 pm
- Friday: From 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday: From 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Sundays: to be determined
- The Latin American Association reserves the right to revoke permission to use its premises and cancel a reservation if it learns of an individual’s or organization’s plans to engage in fundraising activities or of a failure to disclose such plans to the Latin American Association.
PROCEDURE:
- You will need to submit a request in JotForm, 30 days before your event.
Request form: LAA External Space Request - After submitting, we will check availability, and if there is space available, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice for your reservation.
- For cancellations: You need to email mfranco@thelaa.org one week before your event.
- If you want to hold an event on Saturday after 4:00 pm or Sunday. You will be responsible for paying the cost of a security guard to open and close the building.
- We don’t provide catering services
- If the catering services use a kitchen, they need to ensure to clean the kitchen before leaving.
- When you finish your event, please be sure to clean and set up auditoriums as they were prior.

Requests should be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the desired event date.
Please submit your room setup requirements as soon as possible, but not later than five business days prior to your event. Any change in the estimated number of guests must be conveyed to LAA, Eliezer Velez at evelez@thelaa.org
