Second Latino Youth Leadership Academy Scholarship awarded to Reyna Martínez

The Latin American Association recently celebrated a very special day. Daniel Castan & Alexander Lecca of Castan & Lecca Attorneys at Law joined the LAA’s friends and family in proudly awarding the 2nd Latino Youth Leadership Academy Scholarship to one of the LAA’s most hard working volunteers, Reyna Martínez.

An inspiring and dedicated Georgia DREAMer, Reyna graduated from Meadowcreek High School and shortly after attended Freedom University. There she completed an intensive college prep and development program for immigrant youth, and currently is a public speaking representative at Barea College, Emory University and Agnes Scott College. She’s been an active member of the LAA family and has volunteered with our Employment Services team.

Reyna is currently a student at Gwinnett Technical College and hopes to pursue a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

We congratulate Reyna for being our second scholarship recipient, made possible by the generosity of Castan & Lecca Attorneys at Law. We look forward to her continued success.
