LAA releases DACAmented video

At a panel discussion held today to highlight the  experiences of Georgia DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipients, the LAA presented a video titled DACAmented, where five young undocumented immigrants talk candidly about their lives, fears, concerns and hopes for the future.

They have lived in this country for most of their lives. They have grown up like normal Americans, attending our public schools and working hard to realize their dreams. They are proud Georgians. But they feel they’re in the shadows and rejected by the country they love.

Listen to the stories of these young immigrants, who have benefited from a deportation deferral program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
