Free HIV Testing by AID Atlanta
We offer free and confidential HIV testing that includes pre- and post-test counseling by St. Joseph’s Mercy Care Services. Participants also receive information about medical services provided by St. Joseph’s.

Schedule:
Third Wednesday of every month, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Walk-ins are accepted

 

Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) – Dekalb County
The Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is responsible for welfare and employment support, protecting children, foster care and other services to strengthen families.

Medicaid, TANF and Food Stamps Assistance
The DeKalb Department of Families and Children Services (DFCS) offers assistance with applications and interviews to apply for food stamps, Medicaid and TANF. *DeKalb county residents only for Atlanta Outreach Center.

Social Security Administration
We offer assistance with applications for Social Security cards, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), disability benefits, and lost cards.

2nd Thursday of every month, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Support Group for Lupus in Spanish
This group offers support for patients with Lupus, their relatives and friends.

2nd Saturday of every month, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Diabetes Educational Classes
Emory University Latino Diabetes Program offers these classes free of cost. In this class participants learn how to lead healthy lives and stay active while keeping diabetes under control. Activities include learning how to check blood sugar, how to use medications correctly, reduce eye, feet, heart and kidney problems, and how to manage emotions.
