The Latino College Leadership Alliance is a Youth Programs initiative that seeks to empower Latino college students and young professionals through leadership development and civic engagement. This program provides participants with meaningful service-learning opportunities aligned with the mission of the Latin American Association. Participants engage with middle and high school students and advocate on issues that matter to Latino youth. The Latino College Leadership Alliance aims to develop leaders that serve as role models to the younger generation.

This initiative was created by a group of Latino college students who saw a need to bring together students and young professionals from across Georgia with the goal of giving back to the community and having a positive impact on the younger generation. This ambitious group is composed of students from higher education institutions such as Georgia State University, Oglethorpe University, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia Gwinnett College and Morehouse College who work directly with our Youth Programs staff to develop meaningful ways to engage with and impact the younger Latino generation.

LCLA has three committees that focus on making strides to impact our communities:

Education
Community Affairs
Advocacy
