Back to School Supplies Drive: May/June/July/2010

Provide our youth with the ability to do great in school and achieve their academic aspirations. Help us collect school supplies for families in the Atlanta area that are in urgent need. Students involved in LAA programs and students of Woodward Elementary will benefit from the drive. We truly appreciate your support.

Please turn in all donations by August 1, 2010.  Bring all donations to the Latin American Association at 2750 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA 30324.

Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family Program: Sept/Oct/Nov/2010

Adopt a Family this Thanksgiving!  Many families are struggling to put a meal on the table this holiday season.  But it's easy for you to help!
Simply donate a $25 gift card from one of the following stores to the LAA and help make Thanksgiving special for a family in your neighborhood.

Grocey Stores (Kroger, Publix, Whole Foods, etc.)
Boston Market, Honeybaked Ham, etc.
Wal-mart

Spirit of Giving Toy Drive: Oct/Nov/Dec/2010

Spread joy to children in need by giving to the Latin American Association’s Spirit of Giving toy drive. Donate two new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 12 and bring a big smile to the child who receives your gift.  Each child will receive two gifts.
Donated toys are given to families in need who are currently participating in LAA programs, receiving emergency services, or are recognized by a staff member as a family in need.
