About ¡Inspira! Youth Programs¡Inspira! Youth Programs provide a range of services designed to improve academic achievement for Latino students. Since success in middle school is so important for high school and beyond, Inspira! programs are focused on helping improve middle school performance by working at the middle school, elementary and pre-school levels.
Mami y Yo Early Literacy ProgramMami y Yo (Mommy and Me) is an early literacy program geared toward ensuring that children ages birth to four are ready for school. Through fun and interactive classes, the program supports parents and other family members to be their children’s first teachers.
C.R.E.C.E (Create your Road to Excellence through College Education)C.R.E.C.E is an educational seminar about the importance of continued education and what steps to take to pursue postsecondary education. The seminar is free and open to parents and middle and high scool students. You are going to get information about acceptance tests (SAT), how to apply different kinds of academic institutions, career options, how to apply FAFSA loan or grant and financial aid opportunities. Summer Camp ProgramsFun and interactive summer camps for youth ages 6-14 allow kids to have fun while participating in hands-on math, science and technology activities as well as field trips and cultural and recreational programs.
After School ProgramsAfter School programs provide a positive and enriching environment where children engage in supervised activities such as tutoring, academic skills development, and physical fitness. Latino Youth Leadership ConferenceThis exciting and inspirational conference serves over 1,000 Latino youth each year and features topics such as leadership development, opportunities for higher education, cultural awareness, and maintaining a positive outlook to overcome challenges.
