Volunteering
Thank you for expressing an interest in the Latin American Association, commonly known as the LAA. Our organization has a variety of programs and works in several locations throughout the greater Atlanta community. Our headquarter office on Buford Highway supports two outreach centers in Marietta and Norcross as well as maintaining a strong presence at Plaza Fiesta located on Buford Highway. Volunteers can work in any of the three locations depending on the volunteer's preference to program, location, and availability.
Volunteer Orientations are held once a month at the headquarter office on Buford Highway. There are two sessions per month to accommodate to the volunteer's schedules; one in the afternoon and another in the evening. If for any reason the date and time is not convenient either due to work schedules or short-term volunteer availability, please call or email the Volunteer Coordinator to make special arrangements.
