Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Musicians to Perform Noche de Romance y Nostalgia at the LAA Tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011
The Latin American Association (LAA) is honored to host Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians as they perform Noche de Romance y Nostalgia, an evening of romantic and traditional music from Latin America. The event will be
held at the LAA tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
Maestro Juan R. Ramírez, violinist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, will direct the concert which will feature classical boleros accompanied by three of Mexico’s highly acclaimed sopranos: Ruth Ramírez Hernández, a Bellas Artes National Chorus member from Mexico City; Dina Ruth Gómez Ramírez, the Grupo de Los 100 Choir founder from Chihuahua: and Miriam Raquel Gómez Ramírez, a female soloist from Guanajuato. During the event, guests will enjoy exquisite melodies followed by a night of dancing hosted by DJ Gustavo Arena of Arena Fina Music.
