More than 500 Latinas will be participating in the Latin American Association’s 1st Annual Latina Empowerment Conference ¡Avanzando Juntas! on Feb. 27
WHAT:
The daylong event is focused on inspiring and empowering Latinas in their journey of personal and economic growth. Workshop topics include writing a business plan, finding a job, making a budget and developing self-esteem. The conference is part of the Latin American Association’s Latinas Economic Empowerment Program, which offers business courses, education, mentoring and support so that Latinas can make their dreams a reality.
WHO:
More than 500 Latinas with the desire to improve their economic situation by launching their own business, searching for a better job and/or empowering themselves with information and resources.
Keynote speaker is WSB-TV anchor and reporter Wendy Corona.
Mariela Romero of Univision 34 Atlanta will be the mistress of ceremonies and panel moderator.
WHEN:
Saturday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opening ceremony starts at 9:45 a.m.
