Computer workshops open to the public
Learning how to use computer programs and internet is very beneficial to broaden your chances of finding a better job, completing tasks quickly and effectively, and easily communicating with friends and relatives.
We offer affordable classes. We teach digital marketing courses, including how to create your own social media to promote your branding, how to sell your products with e-commerce, internet tools to increase efficiency, how to use Google Suite to its fullest potential, and so much more! All of our teachers have advanced degrees and years of experience teaching computer science and computer literacy classes.
The LAA Adult Education program offers the following ONLINE classes:

Excel Courses
The LAA offers basic-level Excel courses in Spanish for everyone. Students don’t need prior experience but should have basic computer knowledge. You can take a Windows Placement Test. We require an 80-100% score to take the Excel course.
Courses are 20 hours total, with 15 hours of theory and 5 hours of practice and evaluation. At the end of the course, students will identify the scope of Excel as a data management tool, making use of formulas, tables, and graphs for data analysis.
Courses are through Zoom, you will need:
– An internet source
– An email
– Microsoft Excel software

Tech4Girls
Thanks to the support of our partners Verizon and GSMA, we offer girls and young women workshops and courses designed to increase their interest in technology, encouraging them to pursue education and careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
These classes benefit female entrepreneurs, providing them with the skills and tools to maximize their businesses.
